Rijk’s Touch of Oak Chenin Blanc 2014
Grapes were gently crushed and pressed. Wine was cold fermented in tank to allow freshness and fruit, but kept on the lees for 11 months to give a creamy mouth feel. 25% of barrel-fermented wine was blended with the tank fermented portion (75%) to add the wooded dimension.
Fresh and crisp fruit driven medium bodied.

Upfront tropical flavours on the nose with litchi and peach aromas that follows through on the palate. These aromas are supported by hints of mango and a subtle touch of oak. A fresh presence of acid balances the residual sugar to perfection.
